Stayed there for 5 nights last year!
Property is solid. It flirts the line of being too run down to be a Park Hyatt, but overall I liked it. It’s on a part of the island to be very private, but is a short walk away from a public beach that has lots of little beach side bars/restaurants.
Not too difficult to coordinate a taxi to get into town or go to excursions. We tried to eat off property as often as we could, though the on premises restaurants are good (just expensive).
Overall I like the property and would go back, but partly because I also really liked St Kitts
Would you be willing to share your itinerary or recs if you still have them? We plan to stay 4 and hope that’s enough time.
St. Kitts is amazing! While you’re there tho, I highly recommend checking out Nevis too. It’s quieter and so very beautiful. I stayed at the Montpelier - rooms are just ok, but their restaurant is very much worth checking out!!
Appreciate it! Thank you
I found a great points rate on the suite with a plunge pool a few years ago and stayed for about a week. The property is fine and mainly a pool centric property vs great beach access. Reggae beach bar is a short walk from the property. It’s also very easy to catch the ferry over to Nevis - grab a killer bee or two at sunshine’s. I recommend EZ taxi and tour if you want a tour of Nevis - Kenny was a great guide and super flexible. We also hired a driver and did a tour of the island which was a nice way to get in a bit of culture.
Appreciate it! Yes, we found a date for 25K/night. I don’t know if it has a plunge pool though, just saw one available rate so didn’t read too much into it yet.
These are awesome recs. Thank you!
