Lease ends October 31 but no news from landlord on renewing. Currently paying $500/month less than market in my area due to a sweet COVID deal. Are there any disadvantages to not reaching out to negotiate a new lease? I figure we’ll let it expire and go by month-by-month. I’d like to live here for at least another year

HR opinion: Do I have any leverage as a hospital nurse case manager in negotiating earned time? I have 15 years within the organization, left for 10 months to be remote during the pandemic while sorting out childcare as immunocompromised family helped. My entrepreneurial pursuits remain hampered. For the interim, I’ve been looking for a remote opportunity where I can leverage my skills in marketing, sales, social media, and elsewhere for a decent sum. I have a social media presence which, in recent years, reached millions. There has to be something exciting I can do.
