Has anyone dealt with banking after leaving Dubai?
Previously kept savings in an HSBC UAE account tied to employment/residency. During a transition period now and trying to figure out the best place to park money if UAE residency eventually lapses.
Local banks in my home country don’t allow accounts in AED, so trying to understand what others typically do in this situation.
For those who have left Dubai or the region, where did you keep your savings during the transition (or even permanently)?
