I have 5 months and 10 years of experience in Fullstack .NET application development. I am actively looking for a change. Plz do suggest any openings.

Donβt ever believe that info is being privately passed on from the system to the government to ensure fair hiring. Maybe that was true up until the Obama years, but not today.

But also ad age top tens mean nothing. More hopeful that they paid a high salary and you had a good boss.
I've even seen job apps that ask if you're the caretaker of children - no idea how that's legal.
Extremely common and typically required by the EEOC (contingent on company size if I recall.) Supposed to be anonymized and used only for statistical reporting.
Job applicants sometimes arenβt aware of or donβt trust the above. How you respond is a personal choice but you typically have a βchoose not to discloseβ option.
I think itβs more for demographic data. But yeah, itβs super super weird.
You donβt have to provide the answer, and the company doesnβt get to see your answers in the decision process. This is so the government can keep tabs on whether the company has a trend of not hiring people in protected classes.
