Hi Fishes
I would like to know about the client interviews (especially in data science or machine learning roles).
Are these interviews tough?
Are these interviews meant to assess technical knowledge? For example, what is binomial distribution, what are different data structures in python, ml algorithms etc.
I would request each of the nagarrians to share their thoughts irrespective of the technologies you are working.
I am thankful to you for taking time and helping me out.
Nagarro

No, but all I would say with difficult clients is to paper the file, paper the file, paper the file, don’t keep them around too long, and explain everything and reexplain everything in writing so they can’t allege you didn’t
It finally happened last year with a client who sounds very similar to yours. She unfortunately did find an attorney to take her case, and being served felt like the worst day of my life. The stress of it all absolutely consumed me, and it was the darkest place I’ve been since beginning my career. So all that to say- I’ve been there. BUT once my malpractice insurance kicked in and I our defense attorney took over, I have felt SO much better. She completely understands the facts and even pointed out more defenses that I did not notice before. I feel much better and validated, and have to remind myself with the hundreds of clients I have represented, this was bound to happen one day whether warranted or not. But that’s what malpractice insurance is for- and thank god for a good CYA trail. Since this experience I have been even better about my phone call tracking, notes, and documenting my reasoning for certain decisions. It’s tough, but it’ll pass and it happens more times than you realize. Good luck!
The best advice I can give you is prepare for any of your clients to go crazy on you. Start looking for lawyers that handle bar complaints so you can be ready to lawyer up quickly if the client follows through. Do not try to defend yourself.
