Has anyone ever taken a role they weren’t excited about, purely for strategic reasons (stability, brand name, visa, etc.)? Did it end up helping long term, or did you regret not holding out for something that felt more aligned?

How does it work when you live in one state but represent & work in house for a company with operations in another. For example, if I live in California but I’m licensed in NY & working for a company with NY operations. Is this ok?

If I’m contributing to my Roth 401k vs pretax 401k and my employer matches 10% of my contributions. My employer match be 10% on my post tax contributions right? Technically meaning I’ll be getting less of my 10% employer match then if I were to do pretax 401k since that match would be on a higher amount?

Interviewed for Meta exactly 2 weeks ago today. Contacted the recruiter last Tuesday and they said they were waiting to hear back from the hiring manager to discuss the interview results.
