What will the project dynamics be on a project staffed with 3mdps, a PL, and myself, a summer UG intern? Just got staffed and will be hearing more on Monday from the team, but it came across as an interesting staffing composition.
Have the feeling I'll be making quite a few slides as the only junior. Anyone staffed on a similar case composition?

Not weird at all, go for it! Recruiters are always looking for great people. Sometimes timing just isn’t right, they get that.
Yes! I have been on both sides of this. Once as a a candidate and many times as a recruiter. As a candidate - when I originally turned the offer down I was very gracious. I really liked everything about the team, company and offer however, I needed more flexibility than they could give. We stayed in touch and even passed each other leads. I reached out about a year later and we were able to come to a mutually beneficial agreement and I had a great tenure with them.
No regret, but I wonder “what if” sometimes about turning down a position with one of the largest global tech giants. I’m a high achiever and wonder if I could have really done something I was proud of there, but I turned it down because I love to make a real business impact and felt like it was more likely I would become another cog in the wheel of high performers who were drawn to their brand name.
zero harm in doing it, shoot your shot!
Ive never regretted it.
