I did! I got mine from JJ’s House. You get free returns on standard sizes and then you can get it custom sized. I bought one in a standard size to see if I liked the style, returned it, and will be ordering it in a custom size.
Awesome. Thank you for sharing this.
Yes, my friend purchased her wedding dress from Anthropologie of all places. It was absolutely beautiful and we got it tailored by a local tailor we trusted.
I haven't, but I am considering it! My friend did and she sai it took a lot of time and back and forth for measurements/alterations etc but hers turned out gorg!
Ok awesome bc I couldn’t find one that I tried on, the perfect one is online and I just was weary of getting one from online. I found the site : ldcouture.com
My friend did and loved it. My advice, buy it and get it tailored. This will help it look more professional and make sure it fits perfect!
Yes. My sister-in-law did it. She got a nice dress but did some minor alterations on the hip area. It's actually a great option especially if you're on a tight budget.
In February 2021, I got mine online from AandMEnterprises on Etsy. That was less than $800. I didn't like any of the styles in the bridal shops around me. I never tried on a wedding gown before buying it, and I bought mine solely based on the images. This Etsy business provided an excellent online shopping experience. I messaged them several times regarding size and they were quite helpful. Even if you measure yourself, I would suggest getting a much larger size than you think you need, and I would expect to spend a significant amount of money on modifications.
I just went with a try-on-at-home program with the online dress retailer Dolly Couture and found my ideal dress! I'm curvy and short, and it was both flattering and affordable at $725. Customer service was fantastic, and it was an incredible experience to say "yes to the dress" in the comfort of my own home with all of my bridesmaids and my mother.
I got mine online, although I was fairly familiar with the designer and the high quality of her gowns. I was able to get a fantastic deal, so skipping the salon was well worth it to me.
Cocomelody was where I got my dress. They provide very reasonably priced, high-quality gowns. My dress cost $750, which included a bespoke color. I got a bargain that included free custom sizing (usually an additional $200). Every now and again, they have sales and bargains like that. My dress arrived last week, and I really like it.
I bought a white "evening gown," but it looks like an actual bridal gown. I paid $200 for it new with tags on Poshmark, but it's also available on evening gown websites. While you're essentially purchasing a nice dress in white, the quality is excellent. Therefore it's less expensive than wedding gowns since everything with the W word is more expensive.
