I’m 26 weeks pregnant and trying to figure out my leave. I live in NJ and work at PwC, any fishes know the policy for NJ and PwC? The leave center has not been much help and I want to plan NOW not like 60 days before. I was told NJ gets two weeks before due date and PwC gives you two weeks as well.

Yes I got the flu while pregnant with my twins while taking care of my toddler. It was terrible, but got through it! Talk to your Dr on what you can take to alleviate symptoms and lots of fluids! Eat what you can down. Praying you don’t get it, but if you do you’ll be fine!

I had Covid during one of my pregnancies. You’ll be alright! Fluids, rest, the usual advice.
I had horrid covid, so similar. The risk is sustained high fever, so you just keep an eye on that and take acetaminophen, cool showers, etc to keep it down.
I got a terrible case of the flu early in my IVF pregnancy. My RE wanted me to take tamiflu asap so I’d recommend getting tested as soon as possible (I messed up and waited a few days to go in and they still gave it to me “late” in case there was any benefit). Agree with taking tylenol for fever. Baby ended up being fine but I was miserable.
Is it actual influenza or just a cold? Huge difference. Flu usually comes on really quickly without warning and you’ll experience sudden and incredible fatigue and a high temperature. They usually aren’t any nasal symptoms with influenza.
A sore throat sounds like a cold so you may be okay! I had Covid at 31 weeks and Midwife wasn’t worried. Baby was totally fine. You treat as you normally would. We had lots of rest, oranges and water.
