When is it time to go client side from agency? I’m not looking for a new role but a contact has a contract to full time placement that is for a stable company and sounds like a significant pay raise. My current agency has good benefits, I liked the work pre-covid. Now raises and promotions are paused, and they’re very hesitant to hire with no end in sight. I’m not sure it’s worth it to hang around.

Help: The 2 interviews in this round are a week apart, I just had the 2nd interview and realized I didn’t send a thank you note to the 1st interviewer… is it better to only send to 2nd interviewer or send a one-week late thank you note to 1st interviewer?
If i have an upcoming “Case interview” with a PE shop, curious on what that entails? Obviously a full fledged LBO and strategic analysis of the deal, but curious what else would fall into a PE case study. For context on the ask, they are providing me with a case on a public company at 6pm Friday and want a deck back to them by 6pm Sunday
Little bit miserable in my current role and wondering if the grass is greener. I work exclusively on commercial due diligence projects, and want to know if my hours are typical: Monday - Thursday: 9am - ~midnight, Friday: 9-5, weekends totally off. Is this typical or does my group have unusually tough hours?

I was curious about the product manager role at Apple. Role definitions can vary from organization to organization, so I was wondering what does Apple expect from their product managers? Or even the day to day life of a product manager from someone who has worked at Apple.
Deloitte peeps - what is the NTAG group like? Got a job offer today about a consulting position and potentially interested based on hours, pay, type of work, etc. I see it is provision based. TIA!
Married 1.5 years long distance. I took a job to be with him that pays twice what he earns now. I’ve been sharing every detail of my job hunt, interviews to salary negotiations. He has been very supportive but sometimes I feel guilty I’m rubbing it into his face and I have goals about going up the ladder fast, get/ experience the fanciest things and reaching a certain role/salary in life. I fear when I move in things may change, I’ll feel held back, may need to take low pay to feel we’re equal
Hey all. I'm hiring a Jr AD to come work on Jameson and Panda Express and a bunch of other stuff. Lots of digital and social things, video, some print and outdoor. Send link to email@example.com. Thx!
How long does the interview process at Deloitte typically take? I had the first call two weeks ago, but no forward movement since then.
Hi all! Does anyone have any advice/resources on how to prep for business intelligence roles interviews? For example, data analytics/viz quesions (not necessarily coding on spot but explain how I would approach a data related request). So far I have been answering based on my work experience, but want to do a more systematic prep if possible
Looking for a strong resource to join a tiger team focused on managing and supporting large scale pursuits and partnerships in the provider space ($1B+ deals) at Optum. The role isn’t consulting but aligned very closely and hyper focused on closing very robust diligence efforts that are similar to a diagnostic assessment. Preferred big 4 experience that loves PMO and due diligence with a smile. 2nd year BA or 1st year C). DM me if interested.
Why is it that the job you really want has a long, drawn out interview process but the one you want least is eager for you to interview with the team tomorrow!? 🙃
Do top 10 schools generally fly you out for interviews? Or are they mostly Skype? Or do you have to pay your way to interview in person? Does it depend on the school?
If you were to randomly take any CPA exam tomorrow with no prep. Do you as an experienced accountant think you will pass?

I was directly contacted by a recruiter for a role but didn’t get it, then subsequently saw another posting by the same company (a couple of years down the line), which is looking very promising based on my initial interviews. Is there any expectation that I should tell the recruiter about it? I’m not sure what courtesy is expected here.
I asked a vice chair in my group to talk informally about working remotely going forward (we already are remote now and was largely flexible pre covid) and also a possible pay bump. This is my first salary/work benefit negotiation and I’m so nervous I might just unhire myself before we actually get to talk 😭😭
Finally watched The Social Dilemma on Netflix. It didn’t say anything that we didn’t already know about social media and big tech, but it’s still alarming and worth the watch. The biggest question I have after watching is why do people still romanticize FAANG? Is just purely the money and prestige? Are we selling our soul for a highly regarded exit opportunity? Just curious.
Working an expo / benefits fair: what have you done that has worked in getting people to your table, and peaking their interest in an appointment? (Details continued in post)
3.00 UG gpa (death of a parent, caretaker of the other), 3.95 master GPA both in engineering, 730 GMAT. Have killer ECs, decent WE but not gold. Really want to have at least 1 acceptance after R1.
