Hi fishes Will work from home in FIS continue atleast upto Dec 2022? Any idea? FIS Global
I got offer in Bangalore FIS and my husband got an offer with one big company in Hyderabad. Both companies are currently WFH only but in future, I might have to consider moving to Hyderabad. Fis doesn't have office in Hyderabad so I was wondering if I can ask permanent WFH later. I guess I will be put in fis payment solution.
Thanks in advance. Kindly let me know. FIS Global

JAMS is ok for big/complex arbs. For everyday stuff I suggest NAM instead. Zoom isn’t great but it is basically the only option for either
Cross-examination is tough to do via video, especially if you don’t really trust the opposing party. That’s probably the biggest con in my opinion.
I work with attorneys that are accustomed to handing arbitrators paper exhibits in binders even if we use trial presentation software. The idea behind this is that if we hand a lengthy contract to the panel, we want arbitrators to mark it up with their notes.
Also, I just reread the order. It says both parties have to object, or one party has to object with good cause. Otherwise, it’s a zoom arbitration.
Aside from the differences that come with different mediators, Zoom is a great platform. You should make sure to have a subscription/secure session and do at least one mock to develop your own video conferencing style though.
