Has anyone here taken the CFA, CMA, or any other exam after they took the CPA because they miss the rhythm of studying and achieving?

And I am not downplaying the difficulty of an exam like CFA.

Have an experience as a Finance executive of 2.5 years and currently working as a junior Financial Controller at London based firm as a part-time till Sept 2022. I want to join BIG4 as I always wanted to join BiG4. So shall I go with the Entry-level position or can apply for an experienced one? I feel that there are certain areas to improve before applying experienced one. Any suggestions?

Any good resources to learn VBA?

Has anyone successfully moved out of claims into underwriting? I have been doing worker’s compensation claims for about 9 years now as an adjuster. I would really like to get into underwriting but have not had any success so far. What are some other roles I can transition to?

Guilt and shame about working in a legal position for years where, instead of using my law degree (was supposed to do legal work per the job posting), I served as a personal assistant to my boss/did nothing for maybe half the time. I feel like I was paid for work I didn't do. I've since left that job but the guilt and shame remains. I feel that I lack the character of a lawyer and that I am unworthy of the profession. I don't know how to make up for the lost years or how to forgive myself.

What advice would you give someone starting out. Offer in hand - starting first as a SNOW Business Analyst while learning how to be a Developer. No coding experience but 7 YOE in consulting.

I work in insurance. I was working for an Allstate agent and was fired the day after my grandmothers funeral for being “unenthusiastic in our morning meeting”. Now I’m having anxiety searching for a job. I don’t think I want to sell anymore yet every single recruiter I interview with says I should, that I have a “salesperson mentality”. I’m burnt out. Has anyone else felt this way? How did handle it? Is there a different career path I can take or am I destined to sell insurance forever?
