Has anyone here used or know anyone who used Etihad Airways to arrive in Atlanta? I'd like to know where bags are to be picked up - domestic or international. For context, Abu Dhabi airport has US pre clearance similar to Canadian airports. But I am not sure where the bags are to be picked up.

I booked basic economy even though I’m platinum on delta using rewards since it was crazy cheap. Does upgrading to regular economy cost a lot? Will there be a cheapest time to move up?

American airlines is so dumb. Was trying to purchase MCE seats for a long-haul. You can’t

I lateraled from a small firm to regional big law last year. I was told that my offer was commensurate with class year (5th year). The firm recently increased first year salary, with a 5% increase for all other attorneys. My original salary was equal to the new first year salary. The difference between my new salary and a first year is now $10k. I think it is fairly obvious that the hiring partner was not truthful with me. How would you address this? Is another lateral move my only option?

I don't have car experience but I'm going to buy my first car (used 2018). I don't have a mechanic to help test the car. Is it safe enough if I buy from a dealer with points inspection + low milage (< 30k km)+ clean carfax + contactless delivery? I have funds available to pay in full.
