After uploading documents in Bosch First Services one week ago, there was no update from them, when I replied to them via mail - They said we will get back to you.Is this sign of getting compensation breakup or they looking for other candidates.I have offer from CGI and only 3 days is remaining to accept. What should I do in this case?As CGI has said if you don't join after accepting offer we will blacklist you.

Hi all
Few months back, I accepted @pwc india's offer but didn't join.
Now I was referred for @pwc US but as I was applying for the job, the portal shows previous application with status as offer accepted.
Will pwc consider me again?
Does anyone have any idea on this?
Has someone accepted the offer but didn't join and later joined again after some months?
Please let me know
Any inputs will be helpful
Thanks!

Yes, I am definitely seeing this. It is quite frustrating as I’ve been on a wave the last 5 years of my career making significantly more than what they’re offering.
It's necessary to understand your worth and negotiate when starting somewhere new. When salary ranges are offered, I've managed to negotiate above and beyond the posted range but that's because I know the range is garbage. It's a stupid game.
In the heavy civil industry, I’ve seen a lot of movement in salaries, in the upward direction. It depends on the firm. A lot of these big firms are run by (or like) private equity. That means trying to cut salaries and do more with less people. It feels like there are not that many ppl doing this work. Many firms are having a hard time finding people. My recommendation is to look around and leave if you’re not compensated well. Don’t try to negotiate a counter offer, that just leads to hurt feelings and you’ll end up leaving within a year anyway.
Yes I have and they also want you to do multiple roles for the insignificant amount of money they are advertising
