Upcoming Data Analyst Interview with Healthcare startup company - Clarify Health Solutions. There are 6+ rounds and I’ve only made it through one. Super anxious as I’ve seen online that they tend to ghost throughout the process and it’s hard to get an offer. Can anyone provide any tips or pointers?

Hi all,
I have a offer from Perficient and joining in 2 months time. Question :
1: how is the company in terms of job security and projects? I work with web analytics
2: How is the hike and work life balance.
3: Attrition rate
4: Hike is good but will it be a safer vet like Accenture Operations?
Need some views from people working there.
Thanks in advance.

Hello, yes is possible. Litigation is super easy to get into and maybe from there cross over to do contracts or start by crossing over real state and from there you will have the contracts experience. Keep pushing forward and applying, maybe apply to local and small litigation firm to start out.
I was an ID paralegal for 5 years and left litigation to work in house at MS. I interviewed twice for the role 5 years apart. I will say that networking while in college did help me land the role that I have now, but I did interview for the role twice. Once when I had less than a year of of working experience (my very first real job was as a paralegal). My contact was not with the company at the time. I think its important to talk up your transferrable skills in your resume and cover letter. Compare your current/soft/transferrable skills to the needs of the role you wish to fill. I've even had a person that had an interview the day after she reached out to me message me on LinkedIn to ask what she'd need to do to prepare for an interview at my company in my department.

If there are any local paralegal groups, reach out to them for CLEs, networking events or volunteering opportunities. If you're on LinkedIn, take some of their courses on contract management to add to your resume. Good luck!
Definitely possible. The key is to be transparent and educate yourself as much as you can through CLEs or online research of the area you’re wanting to work in. I went from securities/ business litigation to probate, trust and estates. It was difficult but definitely possible. I’m loving this area of law. Low stress and very profitable salary wise. Good luck!!!
I rarely consider resumes from people who have no experience in e-filing because that’s the crux of litigation for paralegals. If you want to work in litigation, learn e-filing. Research e-filing for your state and if they have an online training platform, do the training so that you can list it on your resume as a skill.
Um, learning to Efile will take about 10 minutes. 15 minutes if you're doing training in federal court.
Yes, I moved from Family Law to Insurance Defense/Products liability. For me, taking CLE's that covered other areas of law helped. You might try finding a "boutique" firm. I was able to learn many areas of law in the four years I worked for the boutique firm in Dallas, Texas. I used this experience to move with my practice group when they started their own firm. Now I am an Administrative Law Judge for the State of Texas.

Yes. I did it twice. I moved from Criminal Law (which I enjoyed) to Personal Injury Law (which I enjoyed that too) to Family Law (and I enjoy that also). The only thing I truly hated out of all of them (except for Personal Injury I didn't have to do this) is answer the phones. I hated with a passion answering those phone calls. I just did not like being put in that position, I would always end up resenting it. I didn't go to college to earn a degree to answer the company phones calls all day. I went to work as a paralegal. Do not let them do that to you ever, not even as a backup. It might haunt you for the rest of your career (slim but it can happen).
In your cover letter, are you repeating what you have in your resume? If so, try to rephrase it, where you are not. Talk about what drives you, what makes you stand out amongst your peers, what you have accomplished, what your goals are and last what you expect from the company that hires you. Mine, I let them know, I dislike answering the phones. Some ignore it others will ask me why in the interview.
Yes, I moved from Immigration to Litigation
I moved from personal injury to working for the government and have been much happier since. My first paralegal job was a small two person firm with no HR department and they treated me AWFUL. I was so glad that I made the switch as I am so much happier now.
I have experience in Family Law and Estate Planning and honestly have been wondering recently how hard it would be to switch law types.
