Lateral. Just lateral.
If someone at your firm told you that you have six months, then it’s too late, you’re effectively fired already. That’s “the talk.” Lateral while you still can deny having been fired. That should be 100 percent of your professional focus now, worry about “improving” once you land a new job and starting strong there
OP what did happen?
Why have you performed poorly? Mental health? Personal? Leadership?
If you lateral and do the same you might develop a reputation.
Yeah actually looking at my sheet I have more runway than I thought I'm very close I can do this
in the corporate world it's very difficult to recover after being put on a performance improvement plan- in most cases it's just giving you a heads-up you're going to be terminated. It's possible to recover but you really need to change minds. Look for a new job now!
Not impossible, unless the work isn't there.
