Has anyone worked as a team lead without actually getting the promotion. I have been asked to just take the lead role from August 2022 and still no signs of promotion. My manager keeps on saying increase visibility, do this do that etc. I got this because my team-lead resigned due to personal reasons. Société Générale

I’m an Environmental Protection Specialist and make pretty good money for what I do. I just feel like I have more to offer than being a worker bee in a system at 25. I work with a lot of retirees and would love to return in my latter professional years. I have my Bachelors in Applied Coastal Environmental Science and want to expand my options. I have been applying internally for a year now and I am wondering if this is normal or if my company is just slow?
