Hi there. Ex Deloitte Sr Mgr here, currently in tech pre sales (SaaS / MarTech). Recently spoke to both Salesforce and Adobe recruiters for roles that I thought were lateral moves (Sr SA / Sr SC), therefore I did not proceed with the selection process. The recruiters from both companies told me they typically hire at that level, and people are considered for promotion to Principal in 1 to 2 years. I found that odd. Is that right? What’s the typical TC for SAs and SCs there? (15+ yrs exp).

I've heard that it's a decent place to work overall, but like so many other places your experience is going to ultimately come down to whether or not you have great leadership/managers. That's what makes all the difference & it's usually people's major complaint about SVB (and basically everywhere else).
I have heard mixed reviews on the company overall. I actually had a friend who worked there a few years ago and she hated it, she had nothing but negative things to say. On the contrary I have a friend who works there now and really loves it. I think it probably just depends on who you ask.
I think banks in general tend to do more external hires, so the interview process may not be competitive with internal candidates
Not particularly sure about the Boston office. But the company, in general, is great. Both in terms of pay and WLB.
