Are there any good movies or novels that show skill development - like follow through? Self-management? Money management? I read a lot of self help books so I know a lot of the theory, and books peppered with examples help, but I feel like most 1 paragraph examples don’t five justice to how hard it may be to change a behavior.

M/SM and above, why do you label a meeting as “touch point” or ask if you can have a “quick chat” when it’s something serious? Millennials like us always assume we’re about to get fired - I actually have been laid off in a meeting with that title. But at my new job, my boss asked for a “quick chat” to literally ask me to change the title of a meeting and then chat about christmas. Now that I’m in management, I want to understand it better.

On a project where the project team (including our principal) and client sponsors collaborated on an awesome roadmap and the client leadership (aka PEG) wasn’t buying it. The principal on the project didn’t say a word when we reviewed it with the PEG to help back us up. Back to square 1. How do you all address this?
