Hi, I had an international flight with a connection through Atlanta with Delta today. Flight to Atlanta got delayed so I missed the international flight. Delta said they will provide hotel and meal vouchers. Do you know what those consist of?

It’s been ~10 years since I last had to use them, but they were literally just boarding passes that said “hotel voucher” and “mean voucher” on them. Hotel one was good for the airport hotel and meal vouchers were good for up to $X at airport restaurants.

When my direct flight to Sydney was delayed 13 hrs, they gave us each $30 in food vouchers and a list of hotels we could stay at for the night paid for by Delta. Also gave me 12,500 skymiles.

A negative 5-star hotel and cheap meal vouchers.

I tend to avoid US carriers when flying overseas when practical

I think you can negotiate for more — also call your credit card company.

Last year I made $109k at AT&T so I'm hoping to at least stay in the same ball park but want a change. I have been thinking a role in the industrial sector with a longer sales cycle may be a good fit, can travel up to 25%

Do you pay your credit cards in full every month?

I ask because I’ve let my credit spending get a bit lax since moving and adopting a puppy recently, so I haven’t been paying them off in full every month like I used to (though still well above the minimum payment, and keeping utilization at 30% or under). It got me thinking about how many people adhere to this advice.
