Ambassador Elite Status - worth it? I had it years ago but never really used it. And how/when does the intro happen?
Why can’t they make the Lifetime Platinum status as the Lifetime Platinum PREMIER ELITE status with Lifetime Ambassador support, instead of the regular lifetime platinum?!
Can I create a new mileage plus account to take advantage of fasttrack challenge and get elite status for next year if I already have a mileageplus account .. what's the catch here ?
Currently working on plan C of a honeymoon as we don’t expect to be able to go Europe in June/July as hoped. Plan A and B were variations of Italy (relax) and Spain (mountain biking). Hoping to use bonvoy points. Any US centered suggestions? Maybe refocusing on golf/warmth/spa/food now.
If you achieve new platinum elite status on Marriott this week, how long does that last for?
Do Bonvoy points always expire after 12 months, regardless of what tier you make? Coming off of IHG and those did not expire at EOY.
I have 71 bonvoy nights accumulated. Should I just book the cheapest room I can find for 3 nights and hit 75?
Someone remind me please, if I book a flight through Chase portal, my elite status will kick in vs. if I book a hotel through the portal I won’t get the points, correct?
Prob been asked but how do you best use Bonvoy points. Debating 60k/night in Iceland or saving up for 85k/night Ritz in Caymans (or something like that). Generally what level to spend the points?
Any challenges going on for Marriott Gold Elite?
Have got 400K Marriott Bonvoy points carried over since Feb 2019, when do they expire? If I can’t use them by end of year (if that is when they expire), can I transfer them or use them in any other way?
Good Marriott hotel in Vegas for Christmas time? Platinum elite member hoping for upgrades.
Going to Cabo in April with my husband! Looking to do more adventure travel, but also take advantage of all these Bonvoy points I have. Anyone have any recs for great properties there?
Need help deciding which is more valuable: 60k bonvoy points outright or converting to 25k AA miles. Even tho I plan to stay in AirBnBs in upcoming vacations, I don’t want to sacrifice value
PSA - those who are so close to Marriott lifetime platinum elite should work on getting the status by end of year. If you do this you will be grandfathered into lifetime platinum premier
So far this year, there have been 4 times I've gotten a "PWC NEW HIRE BONUS POINTS" bonus of 8,000 points to my Hilton Honors account. Has anyone else been getting this?
If I book a room with bonvoy points for my parents and I won’t be there, can they still have the free breakfast?
Any way to get a hotel room with a view of the Eiffel Tower in Paris using Bonvoy points?
Anyone applying for recruiter roles in tech? Going through interview process to become one. Any advice?
In the past year, I doubled my salary, achieved a lot of my short term goals (non-financial), but I've understandably been pretty exhausted. I know it shouldn't matter but I ran into my toxic ex-boyfriend's best friends (from 5 years ago), and boy it felt nice to see their faces in shock when they asked me what had been new 😅 petty, but reminded me of how far I had come since then and felt good to say aloud to them
Just got a salary bump at my first job!!! I didn't think it would feel this good but it does
Friday motivation: just booked three summer trips on points and miles for me and my hubby, including business class flight to London. Bright side of waking up at 4:30am on Mondays 😊
Can someone give me insights into technical program manager role. I see descriptions but would like to know if it's accurate. Considering applying for Amazon TPM security role.
What is it like being a partner ? What kind of life do you guys have ? Skill sets that can bring you to the top and things which can break your career ? I am currently a senior and wonder is it worth the grind ? At BIG 3 people become partners in like 10 years or so but big 4 it’s more like 15-17. Would it be worth hustling for it grinding 13 hours days consistently for years to become a partner at like 40-42? PwC Deloitte EY Boston Consulting Group McKinsey & Company
What TV channel/ shows you guys have going on in the background while you work from home - for stress release / avoid anxiety
Kind of a different question ... for those who made the move to PE, any questions or things you wish you would’ve asked / known when you were interviewing that you know now working in the role?
I am a CFE, but my primary role is accounting advisory. Are there ways that I can still continue to expand my practical knowledge about the forensic accounting profession (getting involved with the ACFE and other orgs, volunteering, etc.) without switching over to a forensic accounting role entirely?
Openings in Infosys, Indore. DM if interested
I have an 84 year old client with about 100K in GIC's expiring in 2 weeks. I want to be cautious and put aside some cash for medical bills should he fall sick. What do you guys do with clients 80+?
Anyone from Oliver Wyman willing to chat? Interested in an associate role for tech strategy (financial services). I think I’d be a great candidate Finance UG 2 years strategy consulting @ Deloitte 1 YOE in corporate finance before Deloitte writing business cases & process improvement initiatives Happy to share more details!
Is it worth it to go back to school for a better track to a FAANG company? The division I’m currently in seems like there are no good opportunities, and I have the funds available to finish my undergraduate full time (Canada). I applied to Amazon before for a highly senior position and made it to final interview so I think I would have a better chance for a new grad type role.
Anyone have experience moving from agency to I’m-house or brand side? I was just let go from Edelman & it was my 2nd lay-off in 2 years and my 3rd agency. I’m worried if I look at another agency (if they’re even hiring) that I’ll get laid off again. I was an SAE. Any advice is welcome!
AFS 🐟, what are salary and bonus ranges at levels 8-6 in the cleared space? Also, what are the typical utilization and BD expectations? Thanks in advance.
Hi Fishes, Please help me decide from the below two roles : Deloitte USI - Another resource in a very long term internal project. EY India - I would be given the responsibility of basically building up an SAP vertical from almost the scratch, along side a client facing project. Renumeration is not a concern. 6 YOE, SAP Tech Consultancy.
I have 7 yoe in Automation testing of UI plus Rest API applications. Currently having 7 lpa salary. Holding multiple offers in the range of 12-14 lpa.
