Currently working as a process engineer in switzerland (south east). Salarys and Rent are Medium High. Current salary around 80k. Trying to switch to sales (same company). Had a talk with the teamleader. He talked about the job and told me that they were actually looking for a junior sales (and some product management responsibilities ). That they are looking for a junior isn't to bad, because i have no experience in sales (customer contact yes, but no sales) What salary can i expect?

We all had the same responsibilities, I consider I even had a heavier workload (talking in past tense since I very recently made an internal move).

Mid level Electrical Engineer in the greater Baltimore, MD area making $115k base w/ $20k sign on bonus. No yearly bonus. I started this job in April of this year. 2-3 years experience. When I onboarded they told me to expect promotion to EE III in about a year. Performance reviews coming at the end of the this year and I’m wondering 1) if my salary is on par with what I should expect 2) how to approach conversations about raises and promotion with my supervisor. 1st Job - 90k…. Is this a good salary? Late to the game at 34. Don’t even know anything about personal finance. Basically feeling like an 18 year old over here with no knowledge of how to run my own life. Having to start over after long term controlling relationship where I was left out of all the finance stuff. So I’m lost TBH. Engineering makes sense, managing my money not so much.
