Have you ever experienced what it's like when your company hires a fractional CMO who wants little to do with the marketing team (in this case, a team of one)? Half our meetings are canceled, then not rescheduled, and the CEO doesn't seem to care.

It's allegedly temporary (VP of marketing retired, replacement being hired "soon") but how do you solve for this? If the fractional CMO does communicate, it's sparse and tone seems hostile. I'm considering job hunting. TIA for your thoughts.
