Have you ever, or recently, been pushed to the point that you're ready to just cut and run? I've been managing the workload of 3+ people for must of the last year and ending up with a review at the end that basically said I do too much and invest myself in helping others too much. 😐

Felt like a slap in the face and since then I've massively dialed back what I've been doing, taken a sort of high road "that's not my job" approach and am investing no more time or energy than the basics...

Your physical, mental, and emotional health is more important than anything. God forbid you have a heart attack from the stress. No one is going to stop what they're doing to care for you. If you don't set boundaries, you'll end up possibly suffering irreversible damage which may leave lasting damags and take time from which to recover.

Do you feel like that has helped anything? You are starting to scale back what you are doing? Honestly I can completely understand how it’s a slap in the face, however it might be a silver lining to you being able to prioritize and not take on a workload that is meant for more people.

Yep this happened to me at a job I had before the one I had now. I honestly wanted to just stop showing up because of how tired and miserable I was. I would say its definitely time to start looking for something new my friend.

I almost thought I knew who this was lol, but the guy I know is an SC 👀

Other than partner track, salary/benefits, and switching from coverage to general comm lit, what qualities of the move should I be thinking about as I weigh my options?
