After uploading documents in Bosch First Services one week ago, there was no update from them, when I replied to them via mail - They said we will get back to you.Is this sign of getting compensation breakup or they looking for other candidates.I have offer from CGI and only 3 days is remaining to accept. What should I do in this case?As CGI has said if you don't join after accepting offer we will blacklist you.

Hi fishes,
Why TCS is so rude and self proclaimed kinda. I declined TCS offer last year as they were giving very less CTC. Now I got interviewed again with TCS and cleared all the rounds but they are not reactivating my ibegin portal for document upload since I rejected them last year...in this way u think they will never ever reactivate my profile.

I always make sure to ask early on what the salary range is for the role. I had the same thing happen to me once and it ended up being a waste of time for everyone when I wasn't willing to take a pay cut to change companies. Make sure to ask early on so this doesn't happen to you again.
I just wonder if asking comes across in the wrong way but yes then it can be a waste of time
When approached for the interview, ask at that time and explain that you don’t want to waste everyone’s time if the salary range doesn’t meet your needs. Ask this question of the HR folks.
Thanks, I will next time
I agree with JPMorganChase 1, is all a case of negotiating. If you, genuinely, want that specific job/work in that company, they want to know you are invested on it from very start. We all know we are all are in for the money but also they want to know is more than money that motivates you. Is a contract: what have you got to offer them Vs what can they do for you?
Besides, I personally dont think job interviews are a waste of time, looking back I wish I attended more interviews and chased the right company and right job as opposed to the right salary. Interviews are a way of shopping, the more you see, the better you can compare, when it comes to choosing and of course the experience you gain. Salary comes with time, and even a push back, sometimes is needed before to pull forward, should that be the case.
That’s true OPM1 - it does give good perspectives. Thanks for your encouraging comment
Offer show online is S$3000-S$5000.
My request is S$3200(neg) After 3 interviews I am only given as S$2700, omg

If it’s not posted I always aak during the initial screening call. Just had one a few minutes ago to find out they were paying 40k less than my target range. We agreed not to waste time. HOWEVER, I heard that some people still go through the interview and hope they will be liked enough to negotiate a higher salary. It could happen, depends on how you want to allocate your free time.
Before you spend all your time, resources and effort in a position that's align to your background, make sure to look for the benefits that the company offer either in their website or in the job description. You'll see that some company offer a "Competitive Salary," which mean that they will 100% ask for your expected salary range during the interview.
Your first step is introspection. Pinpoint the source of your expectations. Were you misled by an outside source ? Did you make unfounded assumptions ? The market has a number. Does it lean toward yours or theirs? If they're under , it needs explaination. If yours is over it needs explaination .
Remember, honest self correction is the only true source of wisdom .
