Sometimes it’s okay to just have fun
It’s fair to say that advertising has commoditized the arts in awfully commercial ways! But the stunt is a pretty clear commentary on inaccessibility and consumerism. A game tons of people will play, even though they know they can’t win, is in itself a fun and interesting premise. If anything, it highlights HOW consumerism has chipped away at our humanity.
At least it has some artistic merit - better that than some of the really low-brow sales-y stuff it could’ve been.

Feels like something I’d be jealous of earlier in my career, but now that I’m older (and not successful in any way shape or form) I really don’t care about it. Though, I do get why it’s getting a lot of positive attention. So good for them? Wonder if it’ll have an actual effect on the business.
Mmmyea but isn’t designed to directly drive bag sales. It’s about sustaining the brand’s scarcity effect e.g. reinforcing the sense of exclusivity that comes with owning a Birkin. It’s speaking to people who will never be in the market for a one.
I think the execution is a bit too literal in my opinion. It’s kinda fun but kinda annoying to be called poor lol.

I think you can’t compare it to the same stuff other agencies are doing. This is MSCHF level stuff and it’s honestly mean to just be a bit of fun
The real question to me is “How far will they go to distract the industry that they’re owned by Havas?”
