Would be news to me but so was Nashville.

As sung by Afro Man:
K&E gonna open a Denver office until they got high. (ooh)
Gonna pouch up the local talent, but then they got high (la-la-ta, ta-ta-ra-ra)
The office can't take off, and I know why (why? Man)
'Cause they got high, because they got high, because they got high (la-la-ta, ta-ta-ra-ra)

Where did you hear?
Technically they already have a partner there lol. It will look like what Tennessee looks like. Then they will maybe poach a few partners.
It’s interesting seeing more big firms open offices here. I’ve been in biglaw in Denver for years and the market just does not support our rates for local work, at least in lit. Maybe that will change with more big firms opening up here.
Kirkland opening in Denver is nothing like opening in Nashville. Gibson, Hogan, Wilmer, and a slew of other market firms are already in Denver.
We’re not talking about the same thing. Kirkland is entering a Nashville market where 0 real competitors are. That’s what I mean. I’m not talking about clients being there or not. Nashville is like SLC. Entering Denver is like entering Philly.
The only BL firms that have a Denver office that is more than a satellite supporting other offices are MoFo, Wilmer, Hogan, Gibson and Cooley. Basically every other BL firm that has a Denver office (of which there are but a few) does not count that office as an economic hub for significant amounts of business
Sorry, A&P also probably on the list of “has a substantive office in Denver”
Not true
