Hi All. I have a good job offer but I'm wondering whether I should negotiate comp. I made it clear from the beginning what my target for base comp was which is ~$10K over the top of the posted salary range for the job. I also said that I was comfortable proceeding with the interview process despite the top of that range being lower (somewhat weakening my position for later I suppose). The offer is at the very top of the range. Bonus is 5% less than what I get in my current job. Negotiate?

As my career progressed as a RDA, I moved to the front office and eventually management. I even taught dental assistants and became the Program Director of a DA program. COVID opened up remote work for me, I manage eclaims, claims corrections and billing for two offices. $20 per hour, no bonuses or incentives, I know I am not getting paid enough! Any input would be appreciated.

I want out of advertising. The highs are so high, but the lows are too low. No amount of money or creative fulfillment is worth simply coexisting with my husband or fearing that I can’t have kids because of a JOB.
