I’d be more concerned that your agency is finally deciding to “position” itself as an integrated agency. Writing reels and posts is easy, but transitioning this late in the game tells me that your current agency is struggling to appear current.

Thanks for saying this out loud. It is a generational thing. I have done this a looong time and, like many of you I’m sure, deal with this divide all the time. Simply put it’s really time to embrace omnichannel—for common sense reasons if nothing else. We are humans living in a digital world, yes; but the vast majority of buying decisions, especially as the cost for that product, experience or services increases, one human need to recommend it to another for it to be validated. This reality is what omnichannel embraces, including respecting the adoption curve, segmentation and the truth that a smart person needs to be told a compelling story to care about trying something for the first time or switching loyalty. Yep it's happening at our agency too - many of the creatives left bc they just weren't interested in that kind of work OR learning. Personally, I think the moves are a little late but I'm kinda excited to learn new things.
The post sounds like it’s a decade old. I’d find a place that is looking to the future before your book looks like the past.
