How do y’all set expectations for how long an assignment should take someone to complete? I’m trying to improve on this when I’m setting up staff with an assignment, but for some reason I’m struggling.

I was thinking of seeing how long it takes to do a detail walk through of a sample, for example, and then multiple however long that took by the total number of samples they have to test. And then maybe maybe tacking on a little extra for wiggle room?

Idk why I struggle with this 🤦🏻‍♀️
