I’m on the third rd of interviews for a Relationship Banker position and have 7 years Military leadership experience, 7 years sales which include 3 years mortgage lending. One year left to complete my MBA. Should I make the move or stay where I’m at? And what is the typical salary and commission to be expected on the offer letter? Any information would be great.

I’m job searching right now and applied for a job I was a little overqualified for just to shoot my shot and get my foot in the door with a great brand. The hiring mgr took the time to email me to tell me I was overqualified and offered to help me get connected to his network. He’s been so kind and helpful and I’m kind of in shock at his generosity. Even if an offer doesn’t come from it, is it weird if I send him a Starbucks gift card or something as a thank you? What’s appropriate?

I have an offer of 15 Lpa from Nagarro and expecting one from Capgemini around 18-19 maybe with joining bonus as the offer letter is not yet released. I received a verbal offer for a VP position at CCB line of business at JPMC in NYC two weeks ago. The recruiter asked for salary expectations but there was no number set. It’s been two weeks since and complete radio silence. I sent an email to a hiring manager a week ago but received no reply. It’s August so people could be on vacation but this is really strange.
