I received an offer for 80k to work as a desktop engineer for TCS at one of their client’s locations. However, I have seen poor reviews for working at TCS and I’d like to get some feedback from anyone currently or had previously worked for that company. If you decide to move down a level in your next role, for learning purposes and for more wlb, is that frowned upon by future employers and looks bad on your resume? I've been think about it but haven't pulled the trigger. Also fear that getting a lower level job will be tough if they see me as 'over-qualified'. I am looking to move because for some reason I am hand-held a lot and given simpler tasks, so I am getting bored and want more challenging / much more fast paced environment. $325k TC at MBB in a non-generalist (still partner track) path.
