2010-2016 - notice period: 30 days to 60 days max
Task - Notice period complete all pending task , provide KT to team or new team members.

2016-2022 : Notice period : 60 days to 90 days.
Task - no leave so assign all task to notice period employee. Assign so much work so he/she will need to work for atlist 10hr and utilise all notice period.

A friend of mine from a top tier consulting firm was counseled out. Do you consider it ethical that his career counselor is intentially spreading the information to his colleagues and to other consultants from other companies in the project? What can he do about it? Specially that he considers the potential layoff is purely based on the current situation (chargeability was low) and not on his performance (they said that his contribution to BD during his bench time was low)?

Today I messed up doing a delivery. The client was expecting the supplies at 3pm in the warehouse, however, there was an accident on the highway and traffic was insane. It slipped my mind to let them know about the delay. Now, they believe it was me being irresponsible and are threatening to fire me for not reporting on time and possible losing them a client. Junior associate here (2L). Got some ‘constructive feedback’ from a 4L. We went over budget on a matter, and 4L thinks it has something to do with my inefficient delegation to 0Ls (and not the all the out of scope work the client asked us to do but doesn’t want to pay for...). Delegated tasks included basic grunt work like splitting out documents, preparing execution versions and other low-level tasks. 4L asked me to check with them before I delegate anything in the future. Thoughts?

Based in the Bay Area and have 3.5 yr exp in IT Audit mostly SOX with a little SOC exp (ex big 4, couple of regionals) and have been applying to industry (mostly tech companies) since May. made it to final interviews only to find out hiring freezes were in effect or they went with a LCOL candidate.Would like to exit to a GRC role or a mixed role thats 50% sox, 50% varied projects, or a SOX role if the team culture is good. No luck getting in non sox work at current firm.

I got offer from NatWest Chennai location . My skills set is project management 13 years experience. They have mentioned in my offer letter B7 corporate title is associate. How shall I initiate discussion with LTI for counter offer and how much should I ask for counter offer ?

My basic is 24 lakhs. So it will be 2.88 lakhs per year contribution just from my end.
