Received an offer as Engagement Director from Salesforce (CSG, pre sales, L9). Great benefits package, 40% increase in total comp and better WLB.
I do love the people in my practice and current client, but career trajectory has stalled after taking parental leave earlier this year and (yet another) change in leadership.
Realistically, making to Director is 2-3 years away and will require sacrificing time with my family that I am not prepared to give up.
Should I stay or should I go?
Anyone here who can refer me for internal project for dot net profile.
Garib ko accha account ki khoj hai... Bohot struggle Kiya hai abhi tak ..
fun apart.
If anyone can refer my profile within their project for dot net then that will be great help .

I mean, check with the 4L again in the future before delegating tasks? Not sure there’s too much thinking to be done here.
Is it a 4L’s position to control how a 2L delegates?
IMO, a 2L running at over 100% capacity shouldn’t need to ask a 4L if they can delegate preparing execution versions of documents to a 0L running at under 50% capacity.
This is kind of my point.
If the concern was truly cost/efficiency (and not just passing the buck for heat they got up top), they should realise that it’s much cheaper for a 0L to do these tasks. If I had of done them myself, the bill would have been 1/3 larger for those tasks... True, the 4L could have skipped me and gone straight to a 0L themselves and saved costs there, but I don’t see how that’s my problem? Especially not when I was constantly communicating how smashed I was and that I wouldn’t be able to do the work myself without 0L assistance.
Again I’m emotional because the constructive feedback just doesn’t pass the smell test.
Not sure what all the Ls mean but I’m assuming year level. 4th years are not that senior and sometimes don’t know shit about managing since they’re new to it - they’re just doing their best like everyone else is. Probably the partner (or whatever your version of that is) is reading them the riot act about how high the bill was and they’re passing the scolding down the chain. But you gotta do what the seniors tell you. You’ll be in their role in no time, and get frustrated with a 2nd year who thinks they know better than you and pushes back on your requests. :)
I’m sure there’s a variety of reasons the matter went over budget but inefficient billing by a brand new first year can certainly be one of them. Maybe next time you can provide closer supervision to the first year on how you would do it, so they learn to do it more efficiently. Everything is a learning experience. Not sure why anyone would expect a first year to be efficient and not just write off their time as training, but we don’t get to make the system (yet), just live in it best we can.

Delegate to a nonbillable resource like an assistant or document processing instead!
Maybe they know the 0L you gave the work to us trash and would take 4 times longer that the other 0Ls to get the job done......
