I am bored out of my ever loving mind. No heavy incentive to look for work just yet due to COVID in my area + I’m not really sure what position to even look for since I don’t want to go back into PA. You can only scroll through social media and news so many hours of the day. I’ve cleaned. I’ve FT dated. I’ve read. And read. And read. I’ve done the self makeover/reflection thing. 🤦🏼‍♀️

I hit rock bottom (I mean it) and in 6 weeks I managed a vacation, landed a new job, found a great guy, and landed a bomb apartment. Everything can change at the drop of a hat - keep your chin up.

I worked as a judicial clerk/staff attorney at the immigration court and occasionally handles decisions involving employment-based immigration, non immigrant visas, and waivers. I am currently looking to accept new roles for a job. I have an associates in Accounting have an 8+ year background in accounts payable and am about to receive my Bachelor's in August for Business Management and Economics with a concentration in entrepreneurship. What would you think would be considered a fair hourly rate or salary?

FDD/TAS Senior > Restructuring (Rx) analyst or associate (FAS/Banking) - Has anyone seen it done before? Would starting from Valuation instead of FDD be a better stepping stone to Rx banking. Also, I would imagine the best Rx banking exit would be to HL. Is FTI Rx (FAS) considered better than EY-P Restructuring consulting? How about compared to AM Rx (FAS). Thanks for any input!

Has anyone gone from a federal gov’t employee to private industry? I’m considering making the swap for better pay, I make decent money where I’m at and I know I have job security. Just trying to see if there is anyone else that was bold enough to make the leap.

How much to ask for in job interview when you have 4.5 years of experience in legal assistant positions? I'm going into a field of law that I don't have any experience in. The average salary in my area (Toronto) according to Glassdoor is $48k CAD. I am a licensed paralegal but have never worked in a paralegal capacity. Thank you :)

I have created Algorithmic Product/System for the client to take out inventory not-in-demand for long time to save storage expense and also provide an approach to prioritize Work Orders based on Market Demand. It’s more like an Manufacturing Plan. I want to get into Product Analyst/Lead role. What approach I should take? Any books to start with? Any events to attend? Any groups to join?

Newish to data analytics. Have some experience in power BI, sql, and R. I wanted to get some exposure to aws and saw the AWS cloud practitioner as an available course at my job. Is this cert worth it? Or should I try one of the more advanced ones ? The data analytics one for example but wasn’t sure if it would be difficult to get through as a beginner. Will it look good on my resume?

When industries refer to business intelligence engineers, are they looking at a senior level or entry level? Some of these job descriptions seem rather outlandish in terms of years of experience required like 5+

Being a data engineer can be so defeating. Put together a pipeline for a client I was really proud of, had to overcome a lot of challenges due to the clients dated tech stack.
