I just got rejected for a role at FAANG that I helped create as a result of my project work. The interviewer said it’s funny I am interviewing you and your work is how I am here. I don’t know what I have to do to prove I am qualified anymore. Nothing seems to be working.

Intl Tax folks, how long did it take before you were confident in your role? I've worked for the past 3 years in a practice that is heavily consulting based (inbound and outbound structuring) and I feel like I'm only just starting to understand the foundational concepts (where I can explain them clearly to clients) and offering a shred of value. Then I'll have calls where partners discuss complex tax, legal, treasury and other related concepts that all go over my head.. it becomes overwhelming

Currently looking to remain in client services, continuing to resolve accounting matters and implementing technology solutions.

I hit rock bottom (I mean it) and in 6 weeks I managed a vacation, landed a new job, found a great guy, and landed a bomb apartment. Everything can change at the drop of a hat - keep your chin up.

Job opportunity (mgr title, 4-6 yr exp needed) in Internal Audit (w/ data analytics exposure) at one of the largest private companies in Chicago. I interviewed with them (director and vp) till last round and decided to pursue a different opportunity. Great and caring people who seems to support what you wanna do at this position.
