Hello Fishes,
I am much stressed.. it’s only been 5 months to join Capgemini. I joined in as cyber security consultant with good package.
However, the work I do the tricks, logics and solutions I share with team to apply in the project… all are of no use when discussed with the architect guy. The whole team rely upon the wordings/solutions suggested by him only. It feels like my skill/knowledge and experience is of no use.
I feel like what am I doing here….? Any suggestions please.

Hey all, new to this bowl. Currently a Tech Recruiter and eventually want to make the transition into a HRBP or HR Generalist role. Would love to hear from anyone who started in recruiting then transitioned into another area of HR. Have been thinking of either working on PHR certification or MBA with focus in HR mgt. Thanks!

Today I closed on the sale of my condo and celebrated with a bottle of Krug all to myself. Probably one of the most decadent and gluttonous things I’ve ever done, but 11/10 worth it.

Got a campus round interview with McKinsey, but the recruiter didn’t specify which location and offered to connect for next steps. What should I expect in the phone call? Is it a round 0 interview or will this be nonevaluative? I specified 3 offices on my app (like everyone else) but said “open to all offices” in the post survey. Could anyone shed light on this yr’s process a bit? I thought that our first round interview location would be defaulted to whatever we put first on the app, but it se

Hi All, how much time it takes to genrate offer letter after 2 round of interviews at Crisil.

I dated someone 15 years older than me and he always lectured me about what did I do wrong. From small things like where to squeeze ketchup on my plate to big things like how to live my life and pivot to a career that his “friends” do so well in right now. Almost everything I did or said he’d follow with some criticism. I ghosted him after another lunch date full of such lectures.

At some Big 4 companies there is a Partner / Principal group that has equity and are part owners of the business and an equivalent Managing Director group that does not have equity and are essentially employees.

How does it work at McKinsey / Bain ? Do those same distinctions exist across partner types, owner vs non owner?

Any thoughts on the best certifications to get in order to help move forward? I have considered the CCP from World at Work, but it’s fairly pricey to get by the time you wrap up everything. I was looking at both SHRM-CP and SPHR. Everyone that I have spoken to has the SHRM, but that’s also only looking at individuals in a small geographic footprint and within 3-4 different companies. I was hoping to get some thoughts on this from others? Thanks

Anyone have updates on the HBS R2 process? Other schools have released dates for interview invites; haven’t seen anything come across for HBS beyond the “early Feb” mention a few weeks ago.
