Hello fellow designer, I have a question for y'all, how do you validate your skills as a designer. I come from a tech background and there it was pretty clear if you are a good coder or not, like competitive programming, hackathon etc. So now that I have switched to design can any one tell how to know if I am a good designer and going on a right part.

Want to switch from graphic design (mostly doing print, some digital) to UX/UI. Some advice, tips on how to make a transition? Classes, videos, books, interning? How to find first projects? Thanks.

I am getting an offer from Nagarro as associate staff engineer.

My current CTC is 20,
Nagarro offering 27 max and 3lakh joining bonus.
Tech stack and yoe: AWS + NodeJS and 6.4 yoe

Intiatially they told they are considering me for staff engineer role but after interview they are offering associate staff engineer. Is it worth to join?

I like advising, but it’s a grind to find people to make new clients to sell to in order to survive. Just got another rejection... Is exiting to FAANG or MB really this hard? Trying to go tech.. or mbb, but not getting anywhere. I have 2 masters (mba, ms) from top schools, been in consulting for over 10 years, I am confident that I know my stuff well..but still I keep getting rejected. I need some legit feedback on what is it like to be a UXD at companies like Accenture?
They claim to do a lot of research oriented designs, as everyone. But is that really the case or it's like some other service based companies where the UX is almost vague, and happens mostly based on what the managers think to be good?

Does UX have any value or it's just drafting wireframes based on ideations by the managers and then UI designs?
