I’ve been with firms for 6 years. I struggle (not that I’m not intellectually capable of doing this job), I just hate the detail oriented nature of this industry. Everything gets scrutinized so carefully and most things I stayed up late for doesn’t matter.

Interviewed for 2 jobs I am highly interested in. One offered the job already, but the other one hasn’t made a decision yet but should this week. I have until tomorrow to accept the offer but would like to work for the other company if the compensation package is better. Any advice? I have MBA from NITIE and currently working in Deloitte USI S&O where the work is definitely not strategy consulting. Would like to get into MBB but seems tough. Tried referrals but didn't even get an interview.

Would it make sense to go for second MBA from ISB or abroad and try to get into top front end consulting roles? Quite confused and looking for some advice. Thank you.
