Had my 1:1 with my People Lead yesterday to prepare for talent discussions. Said I had a great year - but need to work on being consistent. She said when I’m engaged it’s great but need to keep it going. I’ve mentioned my ADHD previously but I’m sure she doesn’t know all the components of what that means. We’ve had org issues - no clear role descriptions or expectations. Yes I do have a hard time staying engaged (and I’m medicated - Vyvance in the am, dextroamphetamine at noon). Thoughts?

One of the things that my ADD coach helped me with was realizing that I wasn’t prioritizing activities that help me feel recharged. Between work and home responsibilities, I was just burnt out and overwhelmed.

So now when I start to get burned out I focus on reducing auditory overwhelm, getting outside, listen to music, get comfortable, read a fun book, etc.

As we’re heading into the weekend, what are some things you do to recharge and give yourself a break?

Tired of my pharmacy. Every single month I have to call the pharmacy for my Adderall, they say they don’t have any prescriptions for me, they ask for additional information, they magically find it, and then I have to wait like 1 to 8 hours to have it filled.
