Hello fishes, I'm a UI/UX Designer, from Bangalore.
I have 2.6 years of industry experience,
-UI design: 1.6 years (latest)
-UI/UX Design: 1 year
-Freelancing: 3 years (while in University)
As well as a graduate degree from a prestigious design college in Bangalore.
Recently I was laid off by my company after my project ended, I am looking for a new opportunity for UI/UX in Bangalore. Any referrals and information is really appreciated.
What would be the right CTC to quote for my next role?

Interviewed yesterday but couldn’t get the salary range from the recruiter until I told her my current compensation. Does that frustrate anyone else? I hate that.

For a NID student, 15 LPA starting CTC is good in IBM Software labs Ahmedabad for the profile of UX DESIGNER ?

when’s the best time to negotiate about raising salary? after a year? two?

Anyone knows how alimony works ? In terms of salary ? How much more than your partner do you need to make, to be granted alimony… I’m asking because I have seen cases where one person sacrifices themselves studying and working hard, while the other person is basically doing the bare min, and they can get alimony if they separate ? In some cases, for life.

Can anyone concur the following, working on multimedia editor (Video) (4-6 YOE) requisition:
1. The average rate for freelancer - ₹700-1200 per hour
2. The average compensation package for a full time editor: 7-9 LPA

Grateful for any inputs.

Ctc offered - 16.7

Fixed - 14.5

Location - Bangalore

Please advise whether the package offered is okay or not. Should I look for another offer?

Salary for Sr. Art director in LA with 5 years experience?

“Job hopper” and “quiet quitting” are all schemes made up by boomers to make you think everything is the employees fault. When in reality people are just getting out of bad situations. Older companies do whatever they can to pay you the least amount and get the max work out of you. Except our generation will just leave amid we’re being mistreated, not complain for 35 years making 50k and 0 advancement.
