How do you choose which production company to work with? ie. What are the characteristics or criteria you look for when making your decision? What makes you trust that company?

Looking for a producer for helping me to scope a branding (traditional+digital) and digital experience (mainly UI look and feel) project. Will need help with creating timelines as well. Would appreciate hearing from people with experience on these areas.

(1/2) I started a new job less than a month ago at a large firm with a significant pay increase. I work remotely- which is a special arrangement. They paid for my travel to their headquarters for in-person training. After interacting with my manager and some of the attorneys, I feel like I made a mistake. Manager is demeaning and rude. A bunch of the attorneys dropped not so subtle hints that people who work from home are causing all kinds of problems. I don’t know what to do.

Any struggling paralegals here? Do you feel like your financial situation is affecting your productivity at work? I like the work I do but the pay really sucks. I feel like the fear of not being able to pay some bills on time is affecting my productivity. I’ve asked for a raise but that may not still cut it, and idk if that will go through or not.

I had a technical discussion for HCL on 3rd Oct. It's been more than a week. I still haven't received a status on that interview. I have also received a "Resume shortlisted" mail from their careers app after a week.
Does it mean I'm selected? There's no intimation of the status at all. The HR don't reply on mails/calls.

Why do companies are firing and hiring at the same time ?
I have seen few IT product companies like Amazon firing people and I have also seen openings at their job portals.

So instead of firing so many talented people why they don't just move them to whatever open positions they have ?
I know they can't move everyone but they can do so for atleast some of the people they have decided to fire even after being good performers ...
