Why is education deemed more valuable on a pay scale than experience? Employers will pay someone with a degree and no experience a greater salary, than someone who has exhibited the experience. Understanding that the degreed person committed to school and finished, yet that doesn't diminish what the not degreed has committed to and accomplished in their careers. This has to stop!

Hello! Looking at an opportunity with established startup in UK that's just been acquired by a large co. I'm US based and my salary is around $250k (NYC) -I've been asked my expectation without the startup giving me a range to work from (though I've asked). Curious what’s a fair salary in MA? Was just told that there is likely not going to be a chance for a raise during my upcoming performance review due to my salary already being “above average for the industry” based on my employer’s questionable research. As I'm moving to a new role in a small company, I have a doubt about my salary structure like the Basic salary part is only 20,000 while my take home is 62k after all deductions.

I'm concerned because the leave encashment & other things totally depends on the basic salary.

Which one should I join and if I go ahead with Amdocs for sake of better pay can I switch to development role later on. YOE- 3.4 years. Tech Stack: Java developer.

There are so many people getting offers with more than 10-15 LPA in IT by providing fake experience & proxy interview support. Some don't even have a technical degree.

I totally feel worthless now after working 5 yrs in IT now. I worked very hard, got admission in top college, studied very well there & got an offer of 10 LPA during clg placements.
