As things start to open up fully, some of my institutional clients are sending notices that we are expected to do X activity over zoom from here on out (things we used to do in person). Clearly it’s a cost cutting measure. I got an offer ( after 6 months of joining here in Infosys) and informed my lead the same.He spoke with my manager and my manager has agreed to retain me but needs his manager approval.
Now I have waited for a week without resigning to see if I can get any written official communication of the same.

But all of a sudden, my manager is asking me why are you this doing now? You have just now joined after speaking with his manager.
Why is this sudden change in his behaviour?

I had joined my current company through campus placement and had to sign 1 year service agreement.

I have completed 1.6 years and wish to switch, but the HR is saying that I need to wait another 1 year because there is mass resignation happening at the company, or will have to pay full bond amount if I leave.
