I am an AE moving to a PM role at my agency.

AWS vs Cloudflare BDR roles

AWS lowballed but I negotiated to match Cloudflare. Cloudflare offers more equity but AWS has a higher base.

I love Cloudflare. The people are great but it’s an engineering culture and the sales team isn’t as well shaped up and I can’t go for a promotion until at least 18 months of tenure. I am an investor in the company and think of them super highly. I’ve already got half a years SDR experience and AWS promotes quicker.

AWS has prestige but is it worth it?

I prepared a presentation for an interview with a sales leader, it went well and I was offered a final interview with regional manager. The sales leader I interviewed with gave me a bunch of feedback, but said to find out information about tech stack, which I for some reason, didn’t consider. I come to find out that deep, hidden within the website of the hypothetical client, they use the service already. Do I roll into the final interview and play dumb or do i present and then come clean?

Currently at BNY Mellon with 10 YOE, specifically in Corporate Trust working CLO/CDO’s (first job out of college). I’ve moved around within the bank a few times but I’m just not happy here nor am I where I want to be in terms of comp . This is gonna sound stupid, but I’m honest - I can’t do math. Calculating a tip is as advanced as I get. Thank god for excel formulas and a math savvy husband. At the end of the day, I pay all the bills (I know- but I’m more organized) and make double his salary, what low stress effort (on my limited math capacity brain) can I do to increase wealth?
