I’m in PA school now but in the process of interviewing for what might be my dream job in medical imaging industry. If I get the job pay will start around 120k at a large company with room for growth. If I stay in PA school I will have around 120k in debt and will probably work in vascular surgery. Any experienced senior managers that have moved between Big 4 firms? Can you speak towards your experience, any struggles, and opportunities in terms of partner promotion? Frankly, EY path to partner seems to be too clouded (long pipeline, no clear direction/path, uncertainty on promotion cycles, etc.) at the moment and I would like to visit all options. Appreciate the input.

I currently do planning system implementation at SC level. Quite technical stuff and less PMO. What are my future career possibilities from here onwards? Can I keep progressing in the standard ladder and keep doing implementations, or is it automatically going to end up becoming more are more sales oriented and less actual implementation work? Especially interested in the SM level and above. I’d prefer staying at Big 4 and avoid the supplier side.

I am currently working in technical support in cloud at TCS for 1.4 years. The work is very rudimentary and almost no skill is required for it.

How useful is having worked with the PE practice (deal strategy, CDDs, etc.) of a consulting firm vs any other one when trying to break into PE? I understand it's probably better to come from such units but I wanted to understand in which ways it helps. Is it actually irreplaceable skills vs understanding of sector dynamics vs pure prestige?

I went to a T14 law school, got great grades and glowing recommendations, and wrote (what I thought was) a great writing sample. But I got rejected from all 70 federal clerkships I applied to. The only thing I can think of is: I took a non traditional route after law school and did a 2 year public interest fellowship in a niche field of administrative law. The rejection gave me a lot of self hatred. I still really want to clerk. Any advice? What is wrong with me? I feel like a failure.

Need some advice: I currently do corp dev and FP&A for a smaller company and just got an offer for about double my salary at a F200 company. The catch is I would no longer be doing corp dev, just FP&A. Hello, I am in USI GES tax at DUSI. I love my job but not my team and mgmt anymore. I'm a performer and I'm dumped with work of 2 ppl while others are searching for work. I am burned out.

I resigned and accepted a job with EY GDS with a huge pay bump that DUSI can't match but I also gave up my potential promotion for 2023.

I messed up my interview with Millennium LLP for an entry level role and I feel nothing but dread right now. I believe it was my only opportunity at obtaining a high salary / profile job compared to my other options that only pay half as much.
