Amex people thoughts on this offer, as I have recently(4 months back) joined a startup with Base(33) and CTC(35.5) but not enjoying the work here. Amex brand tag and culture is good.
Hence, considering the offer, does this offer look good or is there any scope of improvement? Amex American Express

Skip PA school
If you are only a couple weeks in, I would go with the dream job. Happiness with your job is worth it!
There are many ways to work in or around healthcare and earn a comfortable salary. Everyone seems to disregard the stress, time commitment, and debt that come with PA school when they talk about what a wonderful career is. Plus, the burnout doesn’t disappear after school. It’s hard leaving a career once you’ve invested so much time and money toward it. I wish I would have explored other options, and am finally doing so after 6 years in practice.
Update! I didn’t get the job and am still in PA school
Skip PA school now so they can replace your spot for someone who doesn’t have the dream job with a great salary.
You should probably figure out if you actually want to be a PA. The work load of school / clinicals is not worth it if you’re not truly invested in the profession. And if not, then you took the spot in a program that someone else who actually wants to be a PA should have had.
I’m curious- what was your choice!?
