Thinking about applying to b-school this cycle. I started current role in Feb 2017 out of undergrad. Is it too soon?
Any suggestions on how to find referral for FAANG/MBB? Tried message recruiter on LinkedIn not much reply:(
I’ve heard the recruiting strategy at lots of firms is changing from MBA to experienced hires and PHDs. I see that is true at MBB but what about Big 4 and smaller firms?
Has anyone made a switch out of accounting and more info with an FPA (financial analyst) or operations role? I would imagine it can’t be too hard to leverage an accounting background to do this. I never want to deal with SOX controls again, and continue getting stuck on awful projects within Deloitte advisory. Feeling silo’d and looking for an out. Away from accounting and into FPA or Operations.
What does a writing sample for a transactional position look like (applying to lateral)?
Can anyone shed light on Deloitte consulting salaries? Specifically the M&A Group. Looking at a senior consultant role and am a non-MBA candidate.
🐟 friends, which health care consulting practices are still hiring given slow advisory pipelines? Looking to refer an upcoming MBA grad from a target school
Anyone managed to move from Big 4 (non Strat&/Monitor/EYP) to T1/T2 (MBB, OW, ATK etc)? How did you do it? (Networking? Special project experience?) I'm in CBO at Deloitte and wondering how to make the next step to T1/T2

Full Focus How many of you work with at least 90% focus 12 hours daily like you do for finals back in undergrad? The SMs and Partners I've worked with appear to be fully invested in work all day. Do you increase your stamina to give 100% the higher up you go to CxO levels or MBB/FAANG, and people do not progress in career because of slacking?
Interviewing for a manager role at Deloitte consulting human capital team. What’s the typical salary at this level?

I've been required to work from the office, but it adds 3 hours of commuting each day and I feel way more exhausted at work. Can I speak to my boss about getting a special privilege to continue to work from home?
Hi fishes, I'm an MBA grad working at PwC US as D365 F&O functional in india, any referrals for D365 positions in Canada?
I really don’t understand why some employers are going to force employees back in the office after they’ve proven to work just fine fully remote for almost 2 years. Is this worth losing employees over?
I just took a 60k salary cut to get experience in a new category. Also not working with a-holes. That’s a plus.
Hi! I am in need of some art directors and art sups on my teams. Launches for rare disease states. Live anywhere because this is permanent remote. Please DM me if you’re looking for a new challenge.
Can anyone help? Does anyone know what a fair ratio is for the amount of money you bring into a company VS the amount you should be paid (i.e. salary + commission)? I work for an IT partner / Tech company, and from outbound cold market selling have added over 40 companies to our books, which over the last two years has generated €850,000 revenue, and will likely be in excess of €5 million in the coming years. What do you think I should be earning?
The role I’m interviewing for has an opening for the same position in the city I want to move to. The problem is that the recruiter mentioned that relocation is unlikely atm because of covid. If I were to receive an offer, is there any room to negotiate relocation at a later time? How long do people normally work at an agency before switching office locations? This agency is 100% remote if that makes a difference.
If a kid is born in your country, grew up there, and later became famous in other country, you don't necessarily have to take credit for it. Be humble. Ever seen China taking credit for the coronavirus thing?
Anybody know what a fair salary would be for a data analyst/data scientist who just had his Master degre and has 1 year of experience in data analysis field and 5 years of work experience in total.
New employee making careless mistakes - but he doesn’t report to me. How would you handle? I sit in a PM-type role, where I work with various people for projects, but don’t directly manage any employees. We recently hired someone whose work seems generally ok, but I’m noticing a lot of careless mistakes. Things like referring to the wrong month for an event invite or referring to the wrong legal case, or misspelling a major city name. Con’t in comments…
How do you reflect after a second or third round interview with the team/managers where the conversation is mostly chatty and light, there’s no real technical questions or anything and then you get rejected? With more technically driven conversations I can usually tell if I did a good job answering or not.

I’m trying to come up with ways to not make each week feel like a drag being a working mom who has her daughter home and not planning on sending her back to daycare anytime soon..I’m her go to parent during the day even though my husband and I have a schedule in place for me to care for her in the mornings and him to care for her in the afternoons. Even on days he has off I tend to still care for her more than on days I have off. It’s fine I’m just realizing I feel like I’m living for a cont....
