I’m a senior software engineer with 8.5 years of experience and a current CTC of ~40 LPA. I’m considering switching to a Product Manager role but concerned about salary. In my current path, with switch soon, I could reach 52–55 LPA easily in Bangalore.

Do Product managers with 8.5–9 years experience in India earn similarly? Also, how does it look long-term — say, at 15 years experience? Software engineers at that level earn 80–90 LPA. Is it same for Product manager?

BCG versus McK for digital consulting? If we are looking broadly at the digital transformation space, then what are some of the strengths of each of firm as well as any glaring drawbacks?

Looking at Forrester, they are both leaders in the space, but it would be helpful to understand the perception of each.

Do you think calling back employees to office is an example of bad work culture within the company? Can we consider companies as an example for bad work culture?

Hi Fishies, i have experience working on Oracle Peoplesoft as well as Oracle Cloud.
Now i have been interviewed and selected for Ameriprise where I would learn on the job and work on workday finance.
No WD certification.
Will it be a good choice in the long run?
Also, how hard is it to learn workday without proper formal training/certification ?

This is my first switch so wanted to understand what all factors to consider.
CCtc : 11 lpa
Expected : 25- 30 lpa
Have one offer in a different org.- 21 lpa

YOE - 4 years
Role : PM
