I’m 28M with 8+ YOE in RPA UiPath

With BTech in CSE and MBA in business management, I’ve completed UiARD and UiRPA certifications in 2023

I get 22.5 LPA. With 1.45 lakhs in hand monthly. And expecting appraisal this month. Not hoping much looking at the conditions(layoff, politics, ruthless market, etc) Also there is a lot of workload with little to learn This WFH is making me stick here. I stayed here for past 1.5 years

- am I getting enough for my yoe?
- should I stay for WFH?

I’ve been a freelance print production designer for many years, and usually on-site in the before times. Now I work remote, and am finding it uneasy dealing with billing. Before I always billed hourly, which made sense, but it’s becoming an issue now. Some companies don’t have a full days’ work, so it seems wrong to bill full days, and it allows me to juggle projects for different companies, but my billable hours are down. I know I should bill a daily rate, but not sure that will fly. Thoughts?

Might be starting at a small agency as a full time Junior AD soon, fingers crossed. It's my first full time position since WFH began.

Other ADs who have transitioned to WFH, what equipment do I absolutely need in my at home workspace? And how should I bring it up?

Just got another rejection... Is exiting to FAANG or MB really this hard? Trying to go tech.. or mbb, but not getting anywhere. I have 2 masters (mba, ms) from top schools, been in consulting for over 10 years, I am confident that I know my stuff well..but still I keep getting rejected. Interviewed with Google, Amazon, Cisco, McKinsey, and a few others and every-time there is something that is not a match... are the hiring managers looking for like 100% match? That will never happen!!!

What are peoples opinions on work from home? It seems to be an unpopular opinion but as a junior I despise it. I work 3 feet from my bed, I find the barriers of a phone/email between me and a senior to add a huge amount of stress to my life and I think it’s stunting my career development at my firm because I can’t build relationships as effectively. I’ve never at all had mental health issues before but now am really starting to feel burnt out and anxious most of the time. What do you think?

Hi fishes, my previous employer has not given me the money for Earned Leaves, they are saying it's not in their policy.. I have a variable bonus of 100000. Out of this they have given only 19,000 in the month of December after 6 months of joining...But they are not giving me any bonus after completing 1 year and 2 months.. They have stopped my appraisal as well...

So in total, I lost my appraisal money, bonus and Earned Leaves money... I feel betrayed and cheated...

What should I do ??

If joining bonus is declared to be given, then is it paid soon after joining or at the month end...This is in context with Capgemini
